EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is recognized as an effective method of trauma treatment. Trauma is an event and the distressful response to the event. This can mean different things for different people as we all process events differently.
EMDR treats the trauma and allows you to move forward from the event in a new way.
Telehealth
Narrative attachment therapy is designed to help children that have been diagnosed with RAD - Reactive Attachment Disorder. It effects the whole family. The therapy involves the parents and children to build healthy attachments and decrease negative behaviors.
Narrative Attachment Therapy
Many insurance companies are allowing telehealth options.

If your insurance company allows it you can use video or phone conferencing for your session.
Therapies
Traditional talk therapy is a great place to start. When the words are ready to flow and you need someone to listen and help support the direction you want to go next in your healing and growth.
Groups are developed and scheduled as needed for various topics, social skills, depression, and grief among others.
Let your creativity start here. You do not have to be a fine artist. Many people that come in to work are hesitant to pick up a colored pencil, paint brush or glue stick.
When words are not enough or they don't describe what you feel, the creative process, and the resulting artwork can be used to explore feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, develop social skills, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem.
